Privacy Notice

Draft pending counsel review. Highlighted items are open questions for review and will be removed before publication.
This notice explains how [COUNSEL: legal name of the operating entity, for example "Diamond Scaffold Services, LLC"], 511 Industrial Pkwy, Bogalusa, LA 70427 ("we", "us") handles information collected through this website, the Diamond Deck product site (the "Site"). Diamond Deck is a product of Diamond Scaffold Services.
Information We Collect
Information You Give Us
When you request a quote we collect your name, company, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, jobsite or yard location, the scaffold systems you use and your message. We also collect whether you want to buy or rent and how many brackets you need.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting provider records technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. When you submit the quote form we hold your IP address in memory for up to one hour to limit spam.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect payment card details. The demo store on this Site does not take payment; any card number typed there stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
How We Use It
We use quote details to answer your request, prepare a quote, follow up about Diamond Deck and keep a record of the inquiry. We use technical data to run, secure and fix the Site. We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that process it for us:
- Vercel Inc. hosts the Site and processes technical request data.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) [COUNSEL: confirm legal name] delivers quote requests to our inbox by email.
- Our customer relationship management provider [COUNSEL: name, for example HighLevel / LeadConnector] stores quote requests so our sales team can follow up.
- [CONFIRM: our email provider for the receiving inbox]
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business. [COUNSEL: confirm this transfer clause.]
Cookies and Browser Storage
The Site does not set cookies and runs no advertising scripts. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. You can opt out with the cookie notice or Cookie Settings in the footer, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser keeps analytics off. Your choice is saved in local storage (key dd-consent) for 12 months. If we add marketing tools later, we will update this notice and the choices offered.
The demo store saves your demo cart and demo order in your browser's local storage (keys dd-demo-cart and dd-demo-order), including the company name and email you type at demo checkout, so the confirmation page can display them. That data never leaves your device. Clear it at any time through your browser settings.
How Long We Keep It
We keep quote requests and related correspondence for [COUNSEL: retention period, for example 3 years after our last contact with you], or longer if we enter into a sale or rental with you, in which case business records are kept as the law requires. Hosting logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider [CONFIRM: Vercel log retention on the chosen plan].
Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to quote requests is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop sending you follow-up messages. Email [CONFIRM: privacy contact email] or call (251) 443-7474. We will verify your request by confirming details you gave us, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent's authority.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (for example California's CCPA as amended by the CPRA, or the laws of Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Colorado and other states) may give you rights to know, access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising or profiling, and to appeal our decision on your request. We do not sell or share personal information and do not process sensitive personal information. We honor the requests above for all users regardless of state, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. If we deny your request you may appeal by replying to our decision; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.[COUNSEL: confirm which state laws apply by threshold. The Site is business-to-business; the voluntary-honor language above is offered as a low-cost default, not a statement that any law applies.]
We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing, although we do neither.
Children
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice here and update the date above.
